Former Watford Boss Returns To Management

Leeds United Appoints Javi Gracia as New Manager

Former Watford Boss Returns to Management

Four-Year Deal Signed with Championship Club

Leeds United Football Club has announced the appointment of former Watford manager Javi Gracia as their new head coach. The Spaniard has signed a four-year contract with the Championship club and will take over from Jesse Marsch, who was sacked earlier this month.

Gracia has a wealth of experience in English football, having previously managed Watford, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Norwich City. He guided Watford to promotion from the Championship to the Premier League in 2018-19, and also had a successful spell at Norwich, leading them to the Championship title in 2020-21.

Leeds are currently 19th in the Championship table, just one point above the relegation zone. Gracia will be tasked with turning things around at Elland Road and guiding the club back to the Premier League. He will face a tough challenge, but he has a proven track record of success in the Championship, and Leeds fans will be hoping that he can bring the same level of success to their club.
